Sizing Guide

Finding Your Perfect Fit At Shiba Studio, every set is handmade to your specific measurements. To ensure your press-ons look natural and stay comfortable, please follow our guide below.

Method 1: The Tape Method (Most Common)

  1. Place a piece of clear tape across the widest part of your natural nail.

  2. Mark the edges of your nail bed with a pen.

  3. Remove the tape and measure the distance between the marks in millimeters (mm) using a ruler.

  4. Repeat for all 10 fingers (Left and Right hands may vary!).

Method 2: Order a Sizing Kit (Highly Recommended) For a 100% guaranteed fit, we recommend ordering our Sizing Kit first. This allows you to try on the actual nail tips we use. Plus, you’ll receive a $5 discount code for your first custom set!

Standard Size Chart (mm)

  • XS: 14, 11, 12, 11, 8

  • S: 15, 12, 13, 12, 9

  • M: 16, 13, 14, 13, 10

  • L: 17, 14, 15, 14, 11 (Measurements: Thumb, Index, Middle, Ring, Pinky)

Important Note: If you are between sizes, please size up. It is easier to file down a slightly larger nail than to fix one that is too small!
